Plants & Flowers

Imhoff’s Gift plays a vital role in the conservation and preservation of the Fynbos biome. Cape Flora typically refers to the flora (plant life) found in the Cape Floristic Region (CFR) of South Africa. The CFR is one of the world’s six floral kingdoms and is known for its exceptional diversity of plant species, many of which are endemic, meaning they are found nowhere else on Earth. Cape Flora is not only botanically significant but also ecologically important, as it supports a wide range of animal life and contributes to the overall biodiversity of the region. Efforts are ongoing to conserve and protect this unique and diverse ecosystem.

We are very privileged to have a resident gardener, Chrissie, who has over the years transformed our entrance, sidewalks, and playpark into the most beautiful spaces!

Below are some of the stunning plants & flowers found in and around our estate.  If you have any photo’s, information or corrections please email: hello@imhoffsgift.capetown
